Kris Kringle visits the Loyola community for a sing-along
It'll be a holly, jolly Christmas at Loyola when Santa and his entourage make their annual stop for singing and good cheer! The Loyola University New Orleans Alumni Association invites the university community and friends to the Singing with Santa party, Sunday, Dec. 5 from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. in the St. Charles Room, located in the Danna Student Center.
BOT member talks about Catholic values in today's media landscape
Communicating Catholic values in today's ever-changing media landscape has its challenges, and the Rev. Paul A. Soukup, S.J., Ph.D. , will discuss these and the opportunities communication programs face in carrying out their Jesuit mission through their work on Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. in Studio A on the fourth floor of the Communications/Music Complex.
Loyola celebrates the season with annual musical showcase
Loyola University New Orleans will ring in the holiday season with its annual Christmas at Loyola musical celebration on Sunday, Dec. 5, at 3 p.m., at Holy Name of Jesus Church, located at 6367 St. Charles Ave. Admission is free and open to the public.

Dreaming of a white Christmas? Dream no more - snow will fall on Loyola University New Orleans' main campus on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 6 p.m. for the annual evening of Sneaux@Loyno, held on the Marquette lawn.
Loyola student volunteers with Orleans Public Defenders
Loyola University New Orleans psychology freshman, Caroline McNeil, is taking a unique approach to service learning by volunteering with the Orleans Public Defenders, an office that seeks to assist defendants and their families following an arrest.
Students produce web video about 'Life at Loyola'
Two Loyola University New Orleans students are out to capture and share 'la vida Loyola' in an exciting, new web video series which will launch on the university's homepage Dec. 6. "Life at Loyola with Kelsey and Chelsea," hosted by Loyola junior Kelsey Pabst and sophomore Chelsea Fielding, will give a fresh perspective on the Loyola experience as seen through their eyes.
Dining services announces canned food drive results
Loyola University New Orleans Dining Services declared Carrollton Residential Hall as the winner of its Helping Hands Across America canned food drive, donating more than 150 cans.
