Dining Services lends a helping hand through a canned food drive

Loyola University New Orleans Dining Services is taking part in the annual canned food drive, Helping Hands Across America.
With each one dollar contribution, a can will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana. Donations can be made throughout Loyola’s campus at The Market, Flambeaux’s Grill, Smoothie King and the Orleans Room. The deadline for donations is Friday, Nov. 19
To establish a friendly competition, the residence hall with the most student donations will win a pizza party later this month.
Helping Hands Across America is a nationwide canned goods drive that pairs schools with local charities in an effort to provide for their community. The food drive is a company-wide initiative sponsored by Sodexo, Loyola’s dining services provider.
