Alumni Association to host array of events this semester

November 5, 2010

The fall semester is an exciting and busy time for the Loyola University New Orleans community. Loyola’s Alumni Association has an abundance of programs and activities lined up for the remainder of the year.

This Saturday, Nov. 6, Loyola University New Orleans students and alumni will join together to renew their Jesuit commitment to service during the 11th annual l Wolves on the Prowl – Loyola’s national day of service. Wolves on the Prowl pairs volunteers from the Loyola community with programs throughout the country that need help. Last year, more than 500 alumni and students participated, including alumni from 13 cities across the nation. This year, 18 alumni chapter cities will serve in solidarity with alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents and friends in the New Orleans area.

On Sunday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m., Loyola’s basketball team faces off against the Green Wave in the annual Battle of Freret Street at Tulane’s Fogelman Arena.
