Pep rally riles Wolfpack before Battle of Freret Street

Before the Wolfpack faces off against the Green Wave in the annual Battle of Freret Street on Sunday, Nov. 7, Loyola students, faculty, staff and alumni are encouraged to support the team at a pep rally at 5 p.m. in the Danna Student Center’s St. Charles Room. The rally will feature music, food, refreshments, face painting, button making and an appearance by Havoc.
After the pep rally, at 6:45 p.m., Loyola’s St. Ignatius Spirit Band will second line Loyola fans across the street to the Fogelman Arena for tipoff. Loyola men’s basketball takes on Tulane University at 7 p.m.
Students can purchase tickets for $5 beginning Monday, Nov. 2, in the Danna Student Center, Residential Halls and the University Sports Complex. Alumni, faculty, staff and friends can purchase tickets on the alumni website for $10. Tickets include admission to the game, parking and complimentary food and beverages at the pep rally.
