Dining Services hosts pumpkin carving contest

Loyola University New Orleans Dining Services will bring the spirit of Halloween to campus through a pumpkin carving contest.
On Tuesday, Oct. 26, students will gather in the Danna Student Center courtyard to carve pumpkins and receive Halloween cookies and refreshments. The official contest and festivities will last from 5:30 – 8 p.m. and will spread from the courtyard into the Orleans Room.
Students who wish to get a head start on their carving, may pick up their pumpkin from the Orleans Room as early as 11 a.m. on the day of the contest. All entries must be submitted for consideration by 8 p.m., and the winning pumpkin carver will be announced on Friday, Oct. 29 during lunch in the Orleans Room.
