Saints owner Tom Benson gifts $8 million for new Jesuit Center
Through the Gayle & Tom Benson Charitable Foundation, New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson has generously pledged $8 million to Loyola University New Orleans to create a new home for the university's Jesuit Center.
Loyola hosts NORD reform panel discussion on upcoming vote
Loyola University New Orleans and Citizens for 1 Greater New Orleans will host a public panel discussion next week on proposed legislation that would create the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission, a public private partnership to provide for increased resources for recreational services for citizens of all ages.

Loyola hosts archaeology lecture on Early Celtic art
Early Celtic art will be the topic of discussion at Loyola University New Orleans in a guest lecture by Peter S. Wells, Ph.D., professor of anthropology at the University of Minnesota. "Meanings in Early Celtic Art" takes place Monday, Oct. 4, at 8 p.m. in Nunemaker Auditorium, located in Monroe Hall.
Quigley honored at inaugural award ceremony
William P. Quigley, J.D. '77, Loyola University New Orleans College of Law professor, was honored with a Civil Rights Leader award by the Louisiana Justice Institute in a ceremony at Xavier University of Louisiana in August.
