“The recognition the Monroe Library has received is a testimony to the vision and leadership of our former Dean of Libraries, Mary Lee Sweat. The library's faculty and staff, through the support of our university, alumni and friends, continue to develop this vision and strive toward creating an institution that is the center for enhancing skills necessary for student success, within the library and online,” says Deborah Poole, interim dean for the library.
