Dean of Libraries, VP of Institutional Advancement to retire in July
Loyola University New Orleans will say goodbye to two top leaders at the end of this academic year. Dean of Libraries Mary Lee Sweat and Vice President of Institutional Advancement Victoria Frank will both retire on July 31.
Loyola offers Argentine tango workshop this summer
Ever wanted to learn to tango? This summer, the Loyola University New Orleans Department of Theatre Arts and Dance will offer a tango workshop instructed by Argentinean musician, singer and dancer Ernesto Rassi.
Loyola alumnus to anchor broadcast news station in San Diego
Loyola University New Orleans Mass Communication alumnus, Mark Mullen, '86, has been named anchor for KNSD-TV, NBC San Diego. Mullen joins the San Diego team after working as a national correspondent for ABC News based out of Los Angeles.
Loyola ethics professor presents lecture at New Orleans convention
Kenneth Keulman, Ph.D., professor of religious studies at Loyola, recently spoke on at a conference session on "Human Security: Altering the Mind Set of State Security," at the International Studies Association Annual Convention in New Orleans.
