Yao appointed to international business advisory board

Lee J. Yao, Ph.D., the Joseph A. Butt, S.J., Distinguished Professor in Accounting, has been appointed to the China Market Research Centre in Australia as an external advisory member.
CMRC is a strategic research center created at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia, which conducts research on equity and derivative markets in China and their economic links with Australian and multinational firms and industries. The center has received $100 million in funding for its first six years from the Australian government and firms.
Yao joins academics from the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Cambridge and Oxford Universities on the external advisory board, which gives advice to and works with the CMRC on research initiatives concerning Chinese corporate governance, equities, derivatives, funds and portfolios, market micro-structure, international finance and their connections to with Australia.
