Loyola baseball's Domengeaux named Pitcher of the Week

Loyola University New Orleans pitcher/shortstop Taylor Domengeaux was named Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week ending April 25.
Domengeaux, a junior from Des Allemands, La., pitched his third complete game of the season on April 24 in a 6-4 win over Spring Hill College. In seven innings of work, he gave up two earned runs on five hits and struck out seven.
Domengeaux has started all 38 games for Wolfpack this season, including seven starts on the mound where he leads the pitching staff with a 5-2 record. His 5.36 ERA is tops for starters and he is second on the team with 29 strikeouts.
Loyola will wrap up the regular season with a three-game set against #11 Belhaven University tonight at Segnette Field. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. with a doubleheader on Saturday, May 1, starting at 1 p.m.
