Loyola College of Business receives re-accreditation from AACSB
April 9, 2010
The Loyola University New Orleans College of Business has been re-accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business’ international board of directors.
The accreditation, a distinction held by fewer than 5 percent of business schools in the world, was awarded to the COB after the association completed a lengthy, comprehensive review of the college’s undergraduate and graduate business administration and accounting programs.
“This designation is a testament to the dedication of our faculty and staff and the quality of education they provide to the students of this university,” said Dean William Locander, Ph.D. “We are proud to remain among this ultra-selective group of business schools and produce the next generation of ethically-grounded, highly-trained business leaders.”
AACSB is an association of educational institutions, businesses and other organizations devoted to the advancement of higher education in management education and the premier accrediting agency of collegiate business schools and accounting programs worldwide.
The COB will also be recognized at the AACSB International Conference and Annual Meeting to be held in Anaheim, Calif., later this month.
