Symposium tackles negotiation tactics for lawyers

The Loyola Law Review in the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law presents “Getting to Yes: New Perspectives in Legal Negotiation and Persuasion.” The symposium is on Saturday, March 27, from 1-5 p.m. in the College of Law, Room 405. It is free and open to the public. CLE credit of 4.0 hours is available to lawyers for $20. A reception will follow.
In the current legal environment, settlement, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution are encouraged more than ever before. This year, Loyola Law Review’s symposium will examine the comprehensive nature of effective legal negotiation, providing attendees with a thorough overview of both the negotiation process and the necessary requisites of effective negotiation. Effective tactics and response strategy will be discussed in depth along with a range of other topics from distinguished authorities.
