Loyola professor gives writing workshop in Colombia

Uriel Quesada, Ph.D., director of the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies at Loyola University New Orleans, was invited by the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá to give a four-day workshop about the art of writing short stories. He was one of a group of special guest writers who traveled to Bogotá in November to teach at the prestigious UNC creative writing workshop.

While in Bogotá, Quesada also met with undergraduate students interested in pursuing degrees in literature with a specialization in creative writing.
