Santa and Mrs. Claus to visit Loyola for sing-along event

Loyola University New Orleans will have an early Christmas visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus to help children of all ages ring in the holidays. The Clauses will visit the campus on Sunday, Dec. 6, from 1 – 3 p.m. in the Danna Student Center’s St. Charles Room.
The entire Loyola community, along with their children, family and friends are invited to attend the event which will feature Mrs. Claus’ North Pole Magic Show, face painting, cookies, refreshments and free photos with Santa. The event will be enlivened with caroling of favorite Christmas tunes.
Following the Clauses’ visit, attendees are invited to go to Holy Name of Jesus Church at 3 p.m. for the university’s annual musical celebration, Christmas at Loyola. This free event will feature performances by several ensembles from the College of Music and Fine Arts including the Loyola Chamber Orchestra, the Loyola Choirs, the Loyola Jazz Band and the Loyola Brass Ensemble. The groups will perform a variety of holiday songs interspersed with several audience sing-alongs.
