The 2009 Loyola United Way campaign kicks off today
November 6, 2009
The Loyola University New Orleans’ 2009 United Way Campaign begins today and runs through Friday, Nov. 20.
Since 2003, Loyola University New Orleans has raised more than $175,000 for United Way from dedicated faculty, staff and students working together to make our community a better place to live. This year, Loyola has set an ambitious goal to raise $25,000 for the nonprofit organization, and the Loyola community is urged to give serious consideration to this opportunity to be a part of something that helps so many. Payroll deduction is available.
United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area coordinates with members of government, business, faith groups, nonprofits and ordinary citizens across the seven-parish region to target needs in the community and help provide a healthy quality of life, a strong workforce and a brighter economic future. Donations to United Way allow more than 100 health and human service agencies to serve people in the region each year.
