Harry Lee documentary to premiere next week
"Wild about Harry, The Harry Lee Story," a one-hour documentary about the late Jefferson Parish Sheriff Harry Lee, J.D. '67, will premiere at Loyola University New Orleans on Sept. 30 at 6 p.m., in Roussel Performance Hall on Loyola's main campus.
University officials encourage Loyola community to get seasonal flu vaccine
In partnership with Student Health Services and the University Counseling Center at Loyola University, the staff of the Student Health Center at Tulane University has made available regular seasonal flu shots to Loyola students, faculty and staff.
11 Loyola faculty and staff members condemn Iranian actions
Eleven Loyola University New Orleans faculty and staff members joined more than 360 concerned academics from around the world in a letter condemning Iranian political interferences in academia and demanding "assaults against the sanctity of Iran's universities, faculty and students be stopped immediately and unconditionally."
Loyola visual arts professor to participate in art panel discussion
Karoline Schleh, assistant professor of visual arts and director of the Collins C. Diboll Art Gallery at Loyola University New Orleans, was selected to participate in a panel discussion with university art gallery directors from around the country to talk about the roles of universities in the world of art exhibition.
Loyola School of Nursing hosts leadership conference Nov. 5-6
The Loyola University New Orleans School of Nursing Health Care Systems Management Graduate Program will host a leadership conference Nov. 5–6 at the Maison Dupuy Hotel in the French Quarter, to help nurse executives learn best practices for fostering quality work environments.
Loyola volleyball to host Girl Scout Day
The Loyola University New Orleans volleyball team is hosting Girl Scout Day at the Den on Saturday, Oct. 3, for its matchup with Dillard University. The game begins at 1 p.m.
Loyola cross country runs in 37th Annual Azalea City Classic
The Loyola men's and women's cross country teams participated in the 37th Annual Azalea City Classic held at Battleship Park, in Mobile, Ala., on Sept. 19.
Loyola volleyball outlasts Lady Blazers
The Loyola University New Orleans volleyball team, playing its first home match of the season in front of their home crowd at the Den, defeated the Belhaven Lady Blazers 3-2 on Tuesday night.
