Seasonal flu shots available to Loyola community

Loyola University New Orleans continues to monitor the H1N1 swine flu virus, but also reminds the campus community to take precautions against the seasonal flu.
Beginning next week, in a continuing partnership with Student Health Services and the University Counseling Center at Loyola University, the staff of the Student Health Center at Tulane University has made available regular seasonal flu shots to Loyola students, faculty and staff. Shots will be available for $20. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Loyola’s Student Health Services has limited doses of the seasonal flu vaccine, however, they are solely reserved for students.
Shots will be available at the following locations at Tulane University:
- Tues., Sept. 22, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life, Pederson Lounge (enter from McAlister avenue)
- Wed., Sept. 23, 5:30 – 7 p.m., Willow residence hall lobby
- Tues., Sept. 29, 5:30 – 7 p.m., Wall residence hall lobby
- Wed., Sept. 30, 5:30 – 7 p.m., Mayer residence hall lobby
