Loyola cross country hosts Radisson Inn Wolfpack Invitational tomorrow

The Loyola University New Orleans cross country team opens their 2009 season by hosting the inaugural Radisson Inn Wolfpack Invitational on Sept. 12 at Lafreniere Park in Metairie, La.
Five college teams, including Loyola, are set to participate in the invitational. The other teams are GCAC opponents Xavier University, Dillard University, University of Mobile, and Belhaven College in Jackson, Miss.
Fourteen high school teams are also set to run in the meet. The list of schools are as followed:
- Academy of Our Lady
- American Heritage Academy (Ga.)
- Archbishop Shaw
- Ashville High (Ala.)
- De La Salle
- Holy Cross
- John Curtis
- John Ehret
- Metairie Park Country Day
- Ursuline Academy
- Westminster Academy
- Xavier Prep
The college women’s teams are scheduled to start at 8 a.m., followed by the men at 8:35. The high school girls begin at 9:10 a.m., with the boys starting at 9:45.
The invitational is estimated to have a total of 214 runners.
