Chemistry professor invited to speak at symposium

Kurt Birdwhistell, Ph.D., professor of chemistry, was an invited speaker at the national American Chemical Society meeting in Washington, D.C., this month. Birdwhistell presented his talk, “Applying microwaves to green methods in inorganic synthesis” at the symposium, “NSF Catalyzed Innovations in the Undergraduate Curriculum.” His talk was recorded and will be available on the American Chemical Society website in early September.
