Donald R. Boomgaarden, Ph.D., joined Loyola July 1, after serving five years as the assistant vice president for academic affairs at Loyola College in Maryland.
Loyola hosts National Community Band performance
Some of North America's finest band musicians will gather at Loyola University this weekend to form the 2009 National Community Band, which will give a free performance this Sunday, July 12, at 3 p.m., in Roussel Performance Hall.

The Loyola University New Orleans Play Therapy Center has been designated as an Approved Center of Play Therapy Education and Research by the Association for Play Therapy.
