July 2, 2009
Victoria A. Frank, vice president for Institutional Advancement at Loyola University New Orleans, announced the appointment of Marcel McGee as the new director for the Office of Annual Fund.
McGee has been at Loyola since September 2007, where he served as assistant and associate director of the Annual Fund. In December 2008, McGee was promoted to major gifts officer for the College of Music and Fine Arts.
“I am happy to have McGee assume this position of leadership. He brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for the Annual Fund,” Frank said.
McGee brings more than 14 years of experience in donor relations and fundraising to Loyola, in settings as varied as the Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations, CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation, American Red Cross-Southeast Louisiana Chapter, the Enterprise Housing Foundation and the Audubon Nature Institute.
McGee, who also served in the United States Navy, graduated from Southern University at New Orleans in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
