Where are we now? Where do we want to go? How will we get there? These questions have been raised by Loyola University New Orleans administrators, faculty, staff and students, and the answers have resulted in an ambitious strategic plan for the university called Loyola 2012.
June 1 marked the official start to the 2009 Atlantic hurricane season, but Loyola University New Orleans was already well underway with its internal preparations for emergency readiness.
The Louisiana State Bar Association awarded Loyola University New Orleans College of Law professor Luz M. Molina the 2009 David A. Hamilton Lifetime Achievement Award.
Four Loyola University New Orleans students were chosen to participate in The Washington Center for Academic Internships and Seminars summer session after competing with a pool of applicants from Tulane, Xavier, Dillard and the University of New Orleans for only four coveted spots.

This week and next, the Jesuit Summer Institute for Advance Study at Loyola University New Orleans is putting New Orleans on display for 28 honors students from various Jesuit universities around the county.
The ballet program at Loyola University New Orleans will present its annual summer intensive program, a college level curriculum geared for students in grade 10 through college.
