April 24, 2009
Orleans Parish District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro and an expert in criminal defense will speak to members of the Loyola community on Tuesday, April 28, at 12:30 p.m. The talk takes place in Bobet Hall, room 216.
The talk is part of the course “Violence and Society,” taught by Lydia Voigt, Ph.D., sociology department chair and distinguished professor in the College of Social Sciences. Cannizzaro’s visit was arranged through Graham da Ponte of Court Watch New Orleans. The talk is open to the Loyola community as space allows. Priority seating will be reserved for students enrolled in Voigt’s course.
