International Bazaar to raise money for student scholarships

The Loyola University New Orleans International Student Association and the Center for International Education, will host the International Bazaar: Bid for a Good Cause, Friday, March 20, from 11 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., in the St. Charles Room of the Danna Student Center.
The bazaar will feature a silent auction with jewelry, crafts, gifts and home décor from around the world. Individuals can place bids on silent auction items from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., but final bidding and a reception take place from 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. The reception, which will feature international appetizers and drinks, Latin musical performances and an announcement of the international scholarship recipient, is $5.
All proceeds from the International Bazaar will benefit the International Student Scholarship Fund, which was developed to help international students who may need additional financial assistance once they enroll at Loyola.
Additional sponsors include the Student Government Association and the Center for Intercultural Understanding.
