Film studies professor has film accepted into prestigious film festival

Loyola University New Orleans Professor of Video Technology Jim Gabour’s film, “Choices,” was chosen to be juried as a featured selection at the fifth annual International Festival of Independent Cinema held May 2-9 in the Buenos Aires resort of Mar de la Plata, Argentina.
Festival director Guillermo Colantonio announced on Feb. 20 that “Choices” will be screened in the main international section of films. Information about the festival can be found on its website at http://www.marfici.com.
Gabour’s digital filmmaking students Andrea Gomez and Alexander Garcia assisted in the production of the film.
