Whelan Children's Center celebrates Valentine's Day

The Loyola University New Orleans Bookstore is celebrating Valentine’s Day by helping children from the Whelan Children’s Center make Valentine’s cards for retired Jesuits in residence on campus.

During the week of Feb. 9, children from the Whelan Center will visit the bookstore to create cards with craft materials supplied by the bookstore. On Friday, Feb. 13, the cards, along with special treats, will be delivered.

The Loyola community is also invited to visit the bookstore and make cards during the week of Feb. 9, from 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
