Wolfpack athletic history exhibit opens this month

Athletics at Loyola University New Orleans has a lengthy and colorful history, and the Wolfpack’s diverse past will be showcased this spring during a special exhibit, "Maroon and Gold: The History of Athletics at Loyola University."
An opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., in the Special Collections Room, located on the third floor of the J. Edgar and Louise S. Monroe Library. The reception is hosted by Loyola’s Office of Intercollegiate Athletics and Wellness and the Office of Institutional Advancement. The exhibit was created by Special Collections and Archives in the Monroe Library.
Join former athletes and friends as the rich history of the Loyola Wolfpack is displayed, featuring a plethora of athletic memorabilia and photos from the ‘Pack’s past.
The reception, open to all fans and former members of the Wolfpack, is $15 per person and includes cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
