After graduating from the University of New Orleans, Fascio started her career in retail locally, working for D.H. She later served as the district and store manager for Petrie Stores in Louisiana, and for the past 13 years, Fascio has worked in Texas for Follett Corporation, as a store manager, assistant manager and wholesale buyer.

"Ivon is an exciting addition to the bookstore team. The community will benefit from her vast retail experience as she introduces new and exciting product lines in the bookstore and strengthens community relations," says Chris Cameron, director of co-curricular programs.
Fascio recently moved back to New Orleans from San Antonio, Texas, with her husband of 28 years, Ron. They are both members of St. Anselm’s Catholic Church in Madisonville, La.
