The Wolfpack responded, closing out the contest with an impressive 15-2 run over the last six minutes for the win.
Brock had the hot hand, converting 15 of 19 attempts from the field for his 33 points. He had seven points in the decisive run for the Wolfpack (6-1).
In the first half, Loyola enjoyed the largest lead by any team as Brock took a feed from Sean Bennett for two of his 16 points in the opening half to give Loyola a 14-5 advantage at the 14:19 mark.
Carver quickly closed the gap on two three pointers by Cameron Blake on consecutive possessions to make the score 14-11 just 40 seconds later.

Loyola led for the next four minutes with Brock putting them ahead 22-20 on the next time down the floor.
Carver again tied the game with 4:26 in the half on another three pointer by Anderson- his second of the game.

Darrinton Moncrieffe also collected a career high in rebounds. He finished with 15 boards. The Wolfpack outrebounded the Cougars 50-36 in the contest.
“We played a much improved, spirited Carver team this afternoon. They shot the ball extremely well in the first half. We had to dig deep in the second half to get the win. We were able to sustain runs and get stops in the second half,” said Loyola head coach Dr. Michael Giorlando.
“We were also able to play several guys that will help us down the road. I thought Nick Tusynski had another great performance especially on the boards. Ryan Brock made some big baskets late in the game.”
For Carver Bible (2-9), Cameron Blake led with 21 points including a game high five three pointers on the afternoon. Delta Leonard had 20 points and Chris Dudley finished with 14. Joshua Caston had a team high 10 rebounds.
It was the second time the two schools played this season. Loyola took the first match up 108-57 on Oct. 31 in The Den.
Loyola returns to action on Dec. 13 against Wesley College in Florence, Miss. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
