Kathy Barnett presents paper in Nevada

Kathy Barnett, Ph.D., associate professor of management, presented a paper at the conference for the Association of Business Communication in Incline Village, Nevada. The paper, “Revisiting the Business Internship: Communication Skills in Practice,” was based on data collected from student interns over the past year. Her article, “A Planning Process Perspective on Student Activists’ Upward Influence Attempts to Effect Campus Change,” appears in the current issue of Southern Communication Journal.
