Team Loyola races for the cure

Loyola University New Orleans Women’s Resource Center, Department of Athletics and Wellness, and Residential Life have joined forces to field a team in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Sunday, Oct. 19 at City Park.
The event begins with a program at 8 a.m., followed by a one-mile fun run/walk at 8:30 a.m. and a 5K run/walk at 9a.m.
Registration forms can be filled out in Karen Reichard’s office at the Women’s Resource Center in Mercy Hall, Room 103; Kristi Salvaggio’s office in the fifth floor of the Sports Complex; and at Amy Brasseur’s office in Biever Hall, Room 103.
Official entry forms can also be printed from http://www.komenneworleans.org/ under the “Click here for Info on Race Teams” link. Pre-registration is $20 for adults and $10 for children. The deadline to register and receive a Team Loyola tee shirt is Tuesday, Oct. 7.
