Loyola University New Orleans is one of the nation's best institutions for undergraduate education, according to The Princeton Review. The New York-based education services company known for its test-prep courses features the college in the just-published 2009 edition of its annual book, "The Best 368 Colleges."
Loyola University welcomes Louisiana high school and college teachers to campus this weekend as they participate in lectures and experiments aimed at introducing green chemistry principles to use in their classrooms.
The last thing most Hurricane Katrina victims want to witness up close is another flood, but for a Loyola University mass communication graduate, it's a chance to bring her disaster healing experiences across state lines.
A six-week program focusing on alleviating Hurricane Katrina's "brain drain" in Louisiana concluded today with a mini-symposium featuring high school and undergraduate students describing the results of their collaborative research efforts with teachers.

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) honored each of Loyola University New Orleans six intercollegiate athletics teams with the men's basketball team taking the top spot with the highest grade point average as NAIA Scholar Teams.
