School of Nursing professor receives grant for nursing traineeships

Gail Tumulty in the School of Nursing recently received a grant in the amount of $91,821 for “Advanced Education Nursing Traineeships.”
The Advanced Education Nursing Traineeship program is managed by the Health Resources and Services Administration and meets the cost of traineeships for individuals in advanced nursing education programs. Traineeships are awarded to individuals by participating educational institutions offering masters and doctoral degree programs, combined RN to masters degree programs, post-nursing masters certificate programs, or in the case of nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, nurse midwives, nurse anesthetists, nurse educators, nurse administrators or public health nurses.
