AT&T supports Loyola’s Lindy Boggs Center with $25,000 grant
The Lindy Boggs National Center for Community Literacy at Loyola University New Orleans is the recipient of a $25,000 grant from the AT&T Foundation, the corporate philanthropy organization of AT&T Inc. The grant is part of a competitive $1.5 million national grant program that provides funds for nonprofit organizations through a one-time, education-focused wireless technology grant.
Jerry Dauterive accepts position with Roger Williams University
Jerry Dauterive, Ph.D., former interim dean of the Joseph A. Butt, S.J. College of Business and long-time economics professor at Loyola University New Orleans, has accepted the position of dean of Roger Williams University's Gabelli School of Business in Bristol, R.I. His last day with Loyola was Friday, July 11.

Gail Tumulty in the School of Nursing recently received a grant in the amount of $91,821 for "Advanced Education Nursing Traineeships."
Kathy Barnett named Interim Assistant Dean for College of Business
College of Business dean, Bill Locander, has named Kathy Barnett, Ph.D., as Interim Assistant Dean for the College of Business until the position of Associate Dean is filled. Dr. Barnett is an Assistant Professor of Management and Internship Coordinator for the College.
