Loyola baseball players honored by the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference

Loyola’s Brian Mason and Josh Borges were named to the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) All-Conference team and Taylor Domengeaux was named to the GCAC Gold Glove Team.
Mason, a senior centerfielder from Nyack, New York, leads the Wolfpack with a .425 batting averaged with four home runs and 43 RBI. He also has 10 stolen bases on the season. Earlier the year, Mason set the Loyola career hit mark. He currently has 240 career hits. It is his first All-GCAC selection.
Borges, a senior third baseman from Belle Chasse, set a Loyola single season home run record earlier this season. He currently has 13 home runs on the season with a .423 batting average. He also set the single season RBI record with 67 this season. It is also his first All-GCAC selection.
Domengeaux, a freshman shortstop from Hahnville High School, had the best fielding percentage among the shortstops in the GCAC. Domengeaux had a fielding percentage of .930 and committed only 11 errors in 157 chances this season for the Wolfpack.
