Loyola University announces 2008 commencement speakers and honorary degree recipients
Cathie Black, dubbed the "First Lady of American Magazines," will address Loyola University New Orleans' 2008 graduating class during the Unified Commencement Ceremonies. Legal-thriller bestseller and attorney Scott Turow will be the commencement speaker for Loyola's College of Law.
Loyola's assistant VP for marketing wins Ad Person of the Year - Loyola students and staff bring home ADDY gold and silver awards
The Ad Club of New Orleans recently named Terrell Fisher, Loyola University New Orleans' assistant vice president for Publications and Marketing Communications, an Ad Person of the Year at the club's 2007-2008 ADDY Awards ceremony.

The Society of Professional Journalists named The Maroon the best non-daily college newspaper in Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas and Tennessee at its regional conference last weekend.
"Twelfth Night" opens tonight in Marquette Theatre
Loyola's Department of Theatre Arts and Dance presents, Twelfth Night, a comedic play that centers on mistaken identity, gender bending disguises and the madness of love. It will run in the Marquette Theatre on April 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, at 8 p.m., and April 6, at 2 p.m.
