Loyola College of Law offering volunteer income tax assistance program

Loyola College of Law is offering the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) again this year to provide tax preparation assistance for people with low to modest incomes.
The sessions, designed by the Internal Revenue Service, at Loyola begin on Saturday, February 9, and continue until Saturday, April 12. Hours for the tax preparation sessions are Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Mondays and Thursdays from 5 to 7 p.m. There will not be a session on the day before Easter, March 22.
Those who attend the tax preparation sessions should bring identification, Social Security cards for each person, their tax returns, and all of their tax documents, including W-2 forms, 1099 forms, and Social Security statements.
