Wolfpack teams receive honors from National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics

The Loyola University New Orleans Wolfpack women’s basketball team, men’s basketball team, and women’s volleyball team all received honors from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
The Wolfpack women’s basketball team garnered national recognition from the NAIA National Poll, reaching the 18th spot in the latest ranking. The Wolfpack women’s basketball team NAIA National Poll ranking is down one spot from their preseason ranking of 17th, which had been the highest Loyola has ever been ranked in the NAIA poll.
The Wolfpack men’s basketball team received votes in the NAIA Division I Top 25 poll. The Wolfpack men’s basketball team ranked 36 out of the 43 teams receiving votes in the poll.
Three Wolfpack women’s volleyball players were honored as Daktronics Scholar Athletes by the NAIA as Daktronics Scholar Athletes; marketing junior Sarah Howard; psychology senior Colleen McNerney, and accounting and finance junior Mary Seals.
