Denis R. Janz, Ph.D., Provost Distinguished Professor of Religious Studies, organized and chaired a panel discussion on his People’s History of Christianity at the conference of the Society of Biblical Literature in San Diego in November. He also was a participant on the panel “Teaching with Texts in the History of Christianity: Textbooks and General Histories for a Changing Field” at the conference of the American Academy of Religion.
Bernard Cook, Ph.D., Provost II Distinguished Professor of History, has just had his book, Belgians in Michigan, published by Michigan State University Press. The book is a volume in Michigan State’s Discovering the Peoples of Michigan series.
