Friday, November 30, from 10:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., UPB presents Loyola Lazer Tag Night. Sign up in the Office of Co-Curricular Programs with your $5 to guarantee your spot. Refreshments will be provided.
Saturday, December 1, from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m., will be the Music Admission and Scholarship Audition Day in the Communications/Music Complex.
Saturday, December 1, from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m., will be the Theatre Arts Admission and Scholarship Audition Day, in Marquette Hall on the third floor.
Saturday, December 1, from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m., will be the Visual Arts Admission and Scholarship Portfolio Review Day in the Communications/Music Complex.
Saturday, December 1, at 3 p.m., the Wolfpack men’s basketball team will take on Carver Bible College in Atlanta, Ga.
Saturday, December 1, at 3 p.m., the Wolfpack women’s basketball team will take on Houston Baptist University in The Den.
Sunday, December 2, from 3 to 5 p.m., the Loyola University Symphony will perform in Roussel Performance Hall in the Commications/Music Complex.
Sunday, December 2, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., University Programming Board is sponsoring a trip to City Park to Celebration in the Oaks with UPB. Transportation and admission will be provided. Students who are interested in attending should sign up in the Office of Co-Curricular Programs.
Sunday, December 2, from 7 to 9 p.m., will be the Senior Project One-Act Festival in the Lower Depths Theater of the Communications/Music Complex.
Monday, December 3, to Tuesday, December 4, will be College of Law study days.
Monday, December 3, at 6 p.m., the Woflpack women’s basketball team will take on the University of West Florida in The Den.
Monday, December 3, from 7 to 9 p.m., will be the Senior Project One-Act Festival in the Lower Depths Theater of the Communications/Music Complex.
Tuesday, December 4, from 7 to 9 p.m., Loyola’s collaborative, student-run reading series 1718 presents Paula Morris, with student readers to read afterwards. This event is held at the Columns Hotel, 3811 St. Charles Avenue.
Wednesday, December 5, to Wednesday, December 19, will be the College of Law final exam period.
Wednesday, December 5, from 7 to 9 p.m., the University Programming Board is sponsoring an Open Mic Night in The Underground of the Danna Student Center. This is an opportunity for individuals to showcase their poetry, music, comedy, or any other creative outlet. Music will be acoustic. A signup sheet for people who would like to perform will be at the event.
Thursday, December 6, from 7:30 to 9 p.m., there will be SNOW at Loyola, in the Residential Quad. Twenty tons of snow will be delivered to Loyola. Hot chocolate will be served and students can get their pictures taken with Santa. A holiday movie will be shown.
Friday, December 7, from 2 to 4 p.m., there will be Library Visiting Committee Meeting in a multimedia classroom of the Monroe Library. There will be a presentation by John Snyder, Conrad N. Hilton Eminent Scholar in Music Industry Studies, and Alicia Hansen, library instruction and music coordinator, on the technology and research skills curriculum for the introduction to music industry studies program, followed by the library’s annual Christmas tea for students.
Friday, December 7, from 3 to 5 p.m., there will be a University Honors Program Party on the fourth floor, Monroe Library, The Collins D. Diboll Art Gallery.
Friday, December 7, from 6 to 9 p.m., the Office of Alumni and Parent Relationsis hosting a Young Alumni Christmas Cocktail Party at Winston's Pub and Patio, 531 Metairie Rd., Metairie. This event is complimentary. Light hors d’ouevres will be served.
Saturday, December 8, to Sunday, December 9, are designated as study days. Saturday only and Engl T122 exams will be held on Saturday, December 8.
Saturday, December 8, will be the all-day Alumni Association Board Spiritual Retreat.
Saturday, December 8, at 7 p.m., the Wolfpack men’s basketball team will take on University of New Orleans
Sunday, December 9, from 3 to 6 p.m., Loyola presents Christmas at Loyola: A Musical Showcase in the Holy Name of Jesus Church.
Tuesday, December 11, to Thursday, December 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., finals massages will be offered in the Main Lounge of the Danna Student Center.
Tuesday, December 11, from 6 to 8 p.m., there will be a College of Business Alumni Board Meeting.
Thursday, December 13, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the Greater Washington, D.C., Alumni Chapter presents the Washington, D.C. Alumni Chapter Christmas Cocktail Reception at the Army Navy Club, 901 Seventeenth Street NW. $20 per person, hors d’ouevres and cash bar. Coat and tie required. R.S.V.P. requested by Monday, December 10.
Friday, December 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be a Board of Trustees Meeting in Greenville Hall.
