Argentinean dramatic movie screening at Loyola

Loyola and Casa Argentina are pleased to present a screening of Chronicle of an escape (Crónica de una fuga), a glaring, true story of four men who narrowly escaped death at the hands of Argentina's military death squads during the 1970s. The Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Cultures and the Film Buffs Institute at Loyola are collaborating with Casa
Chronicle of an escape is about Claudio Tamburrini, a soccer goalie kidnapped by the Argentinean military and falsely imprisoned in a detention center in 1977. After several months of unjust incarceration and torture, he plots his escape with three fellow prisoners.
