Transportation, Accommodations and Health Insurance
Transportation. Round-trip fare to Mexico City from major U.S. cities is between $325-$611 but is subject to change. Cheaper rates exist in some instances but depend on a variety of circumstances. Wherever you are coming from, your flight will be met in Mexico City and transportation to your housing will be provided.
Accommodations. Lodging with selected Mexican families. Preference given to those who register early. Registrants can also make their own living arrangements and subtract the fees for housing and meals. Housing with two meals a day--breakfast and dinner--are provided in the summer program but during the semester housing is without meals. Experience has shown that this is the most practical and economical arrangement for the average international student.
Health Insurance is included in the cost of the program. Provided by LewerMark Outbound, it includes up to $50,000 medical benefit per cause, no lifetime maximum benefit, 100% coverage after $100 deductible for most expenses, MEDEX worldwide assistance services, medical evacuation benefit, repatriation benefit, prompt claims service, and worldwide assistance services.
