How to Use This Guide
The Loyola University New Orleans Media Guide to the Experts has been designed as a tool to help you take full advantage of the wealth of expertise available here from faculty and staff. The guide is divided into 151 major categories that are presented alphabetically. Listed under each category are those faculty and staff members who offer special knowledge, informed opinions, and noteworthy perspectives on current and unique topics.
To contact and arrange interviews with the listed resource person, call the Office of Public affairs at (504) 861-5888. A public affairs staff member will act as a liaison between the media and university expert. If no expert is available, we can suggest another person who can lend credibility and provide information for your story. If you would like assistance with a topic not listed in the guide, we will use our resources to find a faculty or staff member who can speak authoritatively on the subject.
The Office of Public Affairs also can provide you with current curriculum vitas and photos of faculty and staff members as well as information on speakers, lecture series, and performing artists who visit campus.
