The School of Mass Communication is the largest undergraduate major at Loyola University, with 350 undergraduate majors and 19 undergraduate minors enrolled in the various programs. The school is committed to educating highly competent media professionals who exemplify the finest qualities of a liberal arts education in the Jesuit tradition.
In 2008, The Princeton Review cited Loyola in its annual list of the Best 368 Colleges. Loyola's College of Social Sciences was named one of the Great Schools for Communications Majors and Great Schools for Journalism Majors.
