Our students study English in the stimulating environment of Loyola University New Orleans, a Jesuit University founded by the Society of Jesus in 1912. Loyola enrolls over 5,000 students from all 50 states and over 48 countries. Degrees are offered in 60 undergraduate fields and 16 graduate programs. Loyolas 24-acre campus is located in the beautiful university area of New Orleans. The citys historic streetcar stops in front of the university and runs downtown and to the world-famous French Quarter in less than 30 minutes.
Across from Loyola is Audubon Park shaded by magnificent live oak trees. In the park, you will find recreational facilities such as running and bicycle paths and the city zoo, rated among the best in the United States. Audubon Park borders the banks of the Mississippi River where you can enjoy a leisurely afternoon bicycling, picnicking, or just watching the passing river traffic.
