As career development evolves throughout your adult life, it is important that you familiarize yourself with the options available as well as the qualifications necessary for various positions. It is imperative that you begin to create a strategy in your freshman year (1L) and constantly assess and re-work the plan as you progress throughout your law school career. The College of Law’s Career Development Office offers a variety of services, starting in the freshman year, designed to improve the student’s employment opportunities. Our primary goal is to match the educational and experiential skills of the student with the needs of a particular employer. We are dedicated to increasing employment opportunities for students and alumni through direct contact with employers.
