Funding the Jesuit Social Research Institute
A substantial portion of operating funds will come from a restricted endowment jointly raised by the Jesuits of the New Orleans Province and Loyola University, with each entity contributing half of the funding. The endowment will also hold in trust both restricted and non-restricted funds for the benefit of the institute. The remainder of the annual budget will come from donations, grant-writing, government contracts, income from teaching, and fees for service. Institute surpluses will accrue to JSRI’s endowment.
