Roy Fletcher has been professionally involved in political campaigns since 1978. He has worked in more than 500 political campaigns in Louisiana and eight other states.
In 2000, Fletcher served as National Deputy Campaign Manager for Senator John McCain's presidential campaign.
Fletcher was charged with running the War Room for the McCain campaign.
Fletcher has appeared on numerous national talk and news shows including Geraldo Riviera Show, Equal Time, and CNN Inside Politics. His television commercials have also been shown on numerous national talk shows.
In 1996, Fletcher was named a Rising Star in American Politics by Campaigns and Elections Magazine.
Fletcher's work has earned four Pollie Awards from the American Association of Political Consultants, and, in 2000, Fletcher was honored as the first recipient of the Pinnacle Award presented by the Baton Rouge Advertising Association.
Fletcher has served as an Adjunct Professor of Mass Communication at LSU and has frequently lectured in other universities in Louisiana and the South.
He holds a BA degree from Northwestern State University, a MA from LSU and a JD degree from the LSU School of Law.
In 2003, Fletcher served as Media Consultant and Strategist for Attorney General-Elect Charles Foti's campaign.
