Ron Nabonne

Ronald Nabonne was born, raised and has lived most of his adult life in New Orleans.  He graduated from Loyola University of the South in New Orleans and received his law degree from Tulane University School of Law.  In the mid-1970's, he worked with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division.  Since leaving the Justice Department, he has worked as a private attorney and a political consultant to several political campaigns. Mr. Nabonne has organized and managed numerous political campaigns for executive, legislative and judicial offices.  He has also worked for and against several local and state-wide propositions.  Some of his successful campaigns include: Sidney Barthelemy for State Senate ('75); Barthelemy for Councilman-At-Large ('78); Barthelemy's re-election('82) Barthelemy for Mayor of New Orleans ('86); Barthelemy's re-election ('90); Hank Braden for State Senate ('79) Lambert Boissiere for City Council ('86) ('90); Lambert Boissiere for State Senate ('98); Bennet Johnston for U.S. Senate, Orleans Parish ('90); Mike Yenni for Jefferson Parish President ('87)('91); Tim Coulon for Jefferson Parish President ('95) ('99); Paul Connick, Jr. for District Attorney for Jefferson Parish ('96) ('02); Bernette J. Lambert Boissiere, Jr. is a native New Orleanian, married with two kids. His son is Lambert Boissiere, III, currently serving as the La Public Service Commissioner, District 3.
