Institute of Politics

For over forty years, the IOP has worked to educate individuals interested in politics and political leadership in our region. Today, more than ever, we need to call forth citizens whose vision includes a vibrant New Orleans, one in which our traditions meet with realities of life in post-Katrina south Louisiana.

Specifically, we are searching for people who have the talent and willingness to make a difference in the political process and take on the leadership roles which are so needed as we rebuild New Orleans.

The 3rd Annual Renwick Lecture Series will be held Wednesday, March 28th at 7:00pm on Loyola's campus.  Our guest speaker this year is Charlie Cook from the Cook Political Report.  Please feel free to join us for a great night.
